Reflux - over feeding

My 19 week old has severe reflux. We usually end up soaked for 30 mins after a feed. As soon as he's finished a bottle he brings a load up (prob about 2 table spoons ) a time.
He has 6 oz ever 3 hours (48oz in 24 hours) which is apparently 8oz too much. I'm struggling to get him to go longer then 3 hours.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

When you say he has severe reflux, are there any other symptoms on top of the vomiting?

I've heard a little bit of advice for reflux which is to try "half the amount, twice as often".

Maybe 6 Oz is too much for him because of the reflux, and he could adjust to have smaller feeds slightly closer together, day 4 ounces every 2.5 hours during the day for a while?
