Feeding routine for 5 month old

Hi! Just wondering what your feeding routines are for your 5month old LOs?

DD has started to adjust hers a little bit and rather than want more milk she has started tapering it down a little. She used to have approx 8oz four times a day for about a month but now she seems to prefer 7oz four times a day and sometimes only 6oz! She weighs 15lb so is a little chubber but I'm worrying that due to her being on the larger side she might not be getting enough with the smaller amounts.

Just out of interest did you all wait until the exact 6month mark to start weaning or did you go off cues from your baby, be it a few weeks earlier or more?

Sorry for the badly written post, said 5month old is on my knee trying consistently to eat my hair.

Have you had her weighed within the last month and is she following her centiles?

As for Weaning, I weaned one early along time ago and with the second one we waited. From my experience I'd say waiting is far easier as you can just plonk the food down and let them mash it into their hair eat it whilst you eat yours. DC2 was meeting all of the signs of readiness by 23 weeks though, so that's when she started Smile

Have you found the Weaning board yet? That's usually pretty good Smile
