Stopping breastfeeding - how long for breasts to stop producing milk?

Last fed DD thurs (22nd June) in the evening, so it's been about 72 hours. She was probably feeding about 3-5 times a day before I stopped so my boobs are pretty full right now! Just wondering how long it usually takes for them to start deflating Grin

I gave up 2 weeks ago and I think mine have only just stopped!
I thought it had all dried up within 5/6 days but when I was in the shower had a random few dribbles (which is odd because I hadn't leaked in months)
If I squeezed a few days ago still got some but I checked the day before last also, and there was definitely no milk.

Cheers for replying, good to have a vague idea although two weeks of production sounds painful! Did you gradually reduce feeds/express to release the pressure or just bite the bullet and stop suddenly?

I can't wait to be wearing a non-nursing bra!
