1 week old getting enough?

My baby is a week old. He is soaking at least 7-8 nappies a day but poos are less..
I Bf y other two kids but just cannot remember what is normal at this early stage!
He is doing 3-4 smallish poos a day, one probably the diameter of a digestive biscuit but the other 2-3 are half that size. They aren't yellow and seedy and look normal.
But does that sound like too few poos?
He is alert/content when awake but am concerned about the poos.
He was weighed on day 5 and had just regained birth weight exactly. But it's since then poos seem less!

Sorry that should say they *are yellow and seedy.
Also the amount is probably actually less than the diameter of a biscuit!
I am probably overthinking this!!

Sounds ok but hard to tell via the internet. this leaflet is very helpful but has poo/nappy pictures!

I would say if your baby is happy and content, doing poos and gaining weight then they are having enough.

"Day 7 onwards
Wees: 6 or more heavy nappies per day
Poos: At least 2 soft, yellow poos per day, greater than size of a £2 coin – not just ‘skid marks’. You might notice little seedy particles in it – that’s fine"

Ok thanks for advice! Since I posted he has done a huge poo, nearly filling the nappy. Phew 😅
