I'' feeding my 4 week old ad have a small patch of red, warm skin just adjacent to my areola. I don't feel ill and I can't feel anything lumpy like a blocked duct. Have massaged it in the shower and am feeding lots (baby is feeding every hour today for some reason!) I have had a Savoy cabbage leaf in my bra for an hour or so today. Anything else I should be doing? I can't bear the thought of getting ill at the moment, 3 kids is harder than I ever thought it would be!
I've breastfed for a total of 5 years and never had mastitis! Help!
