Posterior Tongue Tie

My baby is due to have her posterior tongue tie sorted tomorrow. As it's posterior (and regarded as 'severe') I assume it's not quite as simple as the 'snip' version for the usual tongue tie. Can anyone give me some insight to the procedure? I've had a quick google but not finding that much! Thank you

It's the same operation and just a quick snip if anterior or posterior. Dd1 had both so needed two operations as they didn't realise when they cut the front one.

We had ours done last week, has already made a huge improvement to feeding. Hope it's the same for you.
