Introducing bottle = biting me!

I'm trying to slowly introduce a bottle to DS (6 months and eBF until now)

He has 2 teeth already and mainly just bits the bottle teat at the moment but it means when he feeds from me he gets confused and then tries to chew my nip. I don't want to shout at him as he's not doing it on purpose and my yellping isn't making a difference.

What do I do? I don't want to be bitten Sad

Some ideas

Try a sippy cup
Remove him with your finger when needed
Remove every time he bites
Offer feeding toy instead
Try not to yelp! He might find it funny
And remember it's just a phase! :)

Is there a reason you need to wean him onto bottles now? As this is a really common issue

Not really, I was thinking I would introduce one a day to start to very slowly wean off BF. I don't go back to work for another 5 months. I guess it's just for a couple of social occasions in 2 months where he will be with my mum for 4 hours and need a feed
