My 2 year has stopped drinking!

Hi everyone. My two year old has recently had a spell of diarrhoea and is finally recovering from it. He lost his appetite throughout but still drank so I wasn't too worried. However he's stopped drinking what he should be. He's also still not eating. Getting really worried now. The doctor has said to give it until the weekend and if he doesn't pick up then to go in. Really worried he's gone off juice though. Tried all drinks, ice pops and youghurts to no avail. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Slush puppy/ snow cone maker might be an appealing game? Failing that ice cream, jelly, cereal with milk. When my dd (3) goes on drinking strikes she can never resist her little tea pot and teacup. Maybe try a new cup, bendy straws etc. Good luck

Hi. Just tried him with ice cream now, it took a while but he eventually ate it, the cone too! So relived. I've managed to tempt him with a brightly coloured fruit shoot afterwards, he took the bait and drank half so better than what he was having before. Hopefully he'll keep it up. Thanks for the reply! Nice to know others have been through the same too Smile
