hello

ds2 (now 3wks + 3days old elective cs for breech) has bf'd on and off since 4am this morning, with very short naps (30mins or so) - my boobs feel like wrung out dishcloths! thanks to my fab mum i have taken it easy & eaten plenty but am knackered. he is definitely hungry as has just polished off 3oz of expressed breast milk.

is this just a growth spurt/ him ramping up demand to get more supply? or somthing else?

thanks for tips!

In the absence of any othet symptoms, it means he is a normal, healthy baby, time4tea. Call it a growth spurt if you like - it's what babies do from time to time, and lucky baby that he has a lovely responsive mummy who understands that he loves being close to you and near the food supply at the same time
Don't worry about supply - look after yourself as you are doing, and don't bother expressing either....just feed
