Missing - where have my boobs gone and will they ever come back?

I gave DD2 her last feed almost 2 weeks ago and my boobs have all but disappeared. I have been pregnant-breastfeeding-pregnant-breastfeeding since Nov 03 so always had boobs and never had the empty socks after DD1. I was a pert 34D before DD1 but have lost a stone and a half since pre pregnancy with DD1 so I know they won't be the same but OMG they are little shrivelled empty sacks.

Am looking for stories of "mine shrank and they came back OK" to make me feel a bit better, I'm not looking for 17 yo boobs anymore am being realistic but will they get a bit better or shall I invest in some Wonderbras?

OK - 'mine sharank and they came back ok'....ish

Long-term breastfeeding replaces the fat in your breasts with milk producing tissue (much of this process happens with pregnancy, so it's not totally avoidable with early weaning)....and when you stop, it takes time for the body to replace the now-unused tissue with fat. The time varies, and the process is gradual. But it does happen.

However, you may never get back an identical pair simply because time takes its toll anyway on breasts, but they will be near enough to look the same to the folks that matter ;)

thanks tiktok I know they will never be the same again but who cares they have done a sterling job and I'm quite proud of them

it feels quite strange having my body completely to myself again think it's time for another one
