my son is nearly 5 months but after 6 weeksof boob feeding ( and a bottle in the evening)he would let go of my boob after around 5-7 mins and cry - then go back on it and 30 secs later let go and cry.....this continued for awhile and sometimes he needed to be burped, but after the burp he couldnt latch back onto my boob...then i swapped sides and he would suck for awhile and then once again let go and cry and the process repeated itself....has tjis happenedf to anyone esle?as a result my milk went down and so now im do 90%bottle,10% breast?????i did read abt my milk coming out too fast but quite frankly emptying my boob out completely and starting again didnt seem to help that much. has anyone else had this problem?

You never really empty your breast as the milk production is faster when baby is feeding or you are expressing. My baby doesn't like my fast let down and it does spurt out so I do the first bit into a muslin after let down and then feed him. I'd try and keep him on the same side for longer if possible as although it may feel empty it isn't. Could he/you have thrush? This can cause baby to have a sore mouth so making it hard to feed.

Could it be reflux? Mine never had it, but from what I have read the pulling away and screaming sounds familar?
