Total bottle virgin needs help!

I have some avent bottles (came with breast pump) but ds won't take them, I've been told that the nuk teats are good but I'm a little confused, if you just buy teats do they fit other bottles or do I have to buy more bottles?

nuk teats are a bit slimmer than the avent ones, it can be a bit hit and miss with bottles , so no, not all teats fit all bottles- we tried so many with dd1 until we found one that worked ( the nuk teats actually!) but the other 2 have used avent ones.

righty ho so I need to get a bottle with it then! thank you!
