So that it's the right temperature, how much hot to cold water?

Ds has a bottle of formula at night, until now I've used ready made but now that he's guzzling 5-6 Oz each evening I've bought some powder. I know from reading on here that it's recommended to use boiling water on the powder, but also have read that people use boiling water then top up with cold so it's the right temperature.
Thanks!

I'd try two oz boiling and then 4 cool boiled water. I'd premeasure both separately so you know you have exactly six ozs water total.

Powder in bottle and add boiling on top to kill any bacteria in the milk. Shake for a few secs add cold and shake again.

We usually use about 1/3 hot water plus cold water from the fridge.
