One breast more full than other

Ds2 is 11wks old, bf on demand. He's pretty good at going 2- 3 hrs between feeds. (his brother was 6-7 months old before he did!)

I have one breast more full, and my initial thought is to feed from that side, but then I think this may exacerbate the problem? Should I just alternate sides as usual? It's a bit uncomfortable.

This is really common.

There are no rules - whatever makes you more comfortable is fine! It's likely that feeding from the least comfortable side will leave you feeling more comfortable. Who knows if it will exacerbate the situation in the medium term? If it does you can try the other side first...but whatever you do this will resolve itself in time.

Thanks tiktok I think.im really aware of having had it quite easy with bf last time. It was relentless and very frequent but no issues as such, so I'm keen to try and avoid them this time!
