immodium while breastfeeding?

I have a feeling this is not advised, but I am at work today and have a slightly upset tummy (probably ibs, rather than something contagious), and I also have a long meeting this afternoon.

My baby is 17 months old and won't have a feed till bedtime (7.30pm), so would I be ok to take an immodium after lunch if I feel iffy?

Have a look for the breastfeeding and drugs network on Facebook. You can msg Wendy direct through it and she will be able to tell you any risks

I queried this with doc whilst feeding my prem twins in scbu. The dose of Imodium is fine whilst breastfeeding. I took it and another the following day no issues at all. Its the mg of ingredient that counts, no dose higher than 8mg i think it said and when i checked the leaflet from the box the dose is 2mg. X
