Nipples!

DS is 4 1/2 months. Have had no problems with feeding (this is second). But I have suddenly developed a sore nipple. Every suck it feels really sore. Breast can feel a bit tender but isn't hard and engorged and also feel fine in myself. So have ruled out mastitis. Any ideas??? Thanks

Is he perhaps just starting to teethe so he's grazed you/ chomped a bit?

I ended up feeling awful and so got an out of hours appointment, mastitis it is thanks for your help.

Hope your mastitis is getting better. My DS is 13 weeks I didn't really think about mastitis happening as babies get older, so thankyou for posting.
