Bottle feeding routine and weaning

Hi my LB is 6.5m old. I was just looking for advice about his routine. He's never been a big milk drinker and has reflux (on gaviscon). The last week he isn't taking much milk during his feeds so unsure whether to drop a bottle of just carry on with smaller bottles.
Currently our routine is
7.30/8am bottle ~5oz
9am breakfast
11.30am bottle ~4/5oz
12pm lunch
3/3.30am bottle ~4/5oz
5.30pm dinner
7pm bottle ~4/5oz
10pm bottle ~4/5oz

I tried cutting out the dream feed at 10pm but he woke up at 3am screaming so fed him 5oz and then he didn't want his bottle at 8am. He's never been a hungry baby in the morning either. Sometimes he gets up 6/6.30am but I leave it an hour or so till I feed him milk in the hope that he will be hungry. My HV said last week as long as he's getting 20oz milk a day then not to worry but see so many babies having more milk and less feeds. TIA

20 floz is the minimum they should be having, I wouldn't rush to drop any feeds yet, he's not having much more than the minimum Smile

Have you found the MN Weaning Section too? It may help Smile

Thank you for your reply. He's been a bit better with his feeds yesterday and today but has a runny nose so think he might have a slight cold. I will have a look at the weaning section, thanks Smile
