Feel weird after stopping breastfeeding

Just that really. I stopped breastfeeding my 9 month old about a week and a half ago. Not suddenly- i had done it gradually. However, now I feel strange. Sort of light headed or dizzy sometimes. I also had a terrible (almost migrainey) headache a few days ago and actually threw up.

Before Anyone asks- Have done several pregnancy tests and bfn- although I'm using the mini pill so obvs hoping it isn't that anyway! I'm not having periods, but the mini pill stops them anyway I think.

Is this to do with hormone changes or something? Anyone had similar?

It's perfectly normal to have physical and/or emotional side effects from stopping breastfeeding. It's to do with your hormones changing again and finally going back to normal. It will pass.
