Bottles or Bags!?

Hi I have just recently ordered a breast pump as my nipples are in such a state from BF. What do people prefer pumping into bottles or bags? Feeling a bit overwhelmed with the choices !!

I usually express into bottles and store them in the fridge in individual portions ready to heat and feed. Any extra milk I put into bags and freeze flat to save space.

Have you ever tried going directly into bags? I think my pump lets me do that!?

You can, I just found it more awkward expressing into the bags, especially as the bags that come with my pump (Medela) don't seem to be great for storage/freezing (in my opinion). I bought better bags but they're not made to express into, so I use bottles. But if you think the bags would work better for you, then go for it
