steralising...help needed please

i'm trying not to be too anal when it comes to steralising...but, just wondered if i am supposed to steralise the dispenser that i use for keeping the formula in (the kind of one with measured out compartments) or will a good hot soapy wash do it?

I used to sterilize mine in the early stages, and wash it in the dishwasher only after dd about six months.
