DD is 11 months old and breastfed. Eats well, but always prefers boob. I really need to wean for my sake and hers. She wakes up every 2h because she won't sleep without being on the breast. I've just stopped daytime feeds this weekend, yesterday went well but today she hasn't had a single nap because she doesn't have the breast to fall asleep on. I'm just at my wits end. Sippy cups don't work, she won't suck a straw cup or dummy, it's like she doesn't know how to. How do I get her to sleep without feeding?! She falls asleep in the pram, but obviously that's not suitable at night. Just any tips or solutions, please?

Hi there. My DD is similar, she's six months old and needs the boob to fall back to sleep. I was feeding her every two hours up until recently. We (my DH and I) have recently starters trying to resettle her without feeding her. We decided that if she woke in under three hours we would shhhh pay her back to sleep before feeding.
I've got her down to two to three feeds a night but she probably doesn't need any. Will hopefully start to lengthen the times between those. She did get the hang of it after a few days and started going 5-6 hours at the beginning of the night. After 12pm it can all go a bit wrong though!
