Buying new bras at the end of feeding

I have a 9 month old and I've stopped feeding apart from once in the night. My boobs feel flat - like they used to do. Sad I can still get some milk out but they aren't filling up like they used to.

I'm sick of the nursing bras and don't need them now. My MIL kindly took me to a boutique underwear shop today to get measured and bought me two new lovely abs expensive bras.

However I'm now wondering if I've jumped the gun- should I have waited? My boobs feel back to normal in the day and only fill up a bit (;but not much) during the night. It's not like I got measured during the night....

What's the thinking on this? Please don't someone tell me I should have Waited 6 months or something. I have no bras that fit me right now.

Are you worried you will shrink a bit more and that they won't fit? I think your reasoning of having been measured in the daytime makes sense, and that they should fit fine. I don't think I've ever seen advice that you need to wait any particular length of time after stopping feeding before getting new bras.

Exactly yes- worried I'll shrink some more! Saying that, the size she tells me I am makes sense with where I was before pregnancy and feeding so I'm hoping nothing with drastically change.... I just wondered if you're supposed to wait until you know you're back to normal for definite (although I'm not sure how you would know when that was!)

I think if you're only doing 1 feed and your current size is similar to your pre pregnancy size then I think you'd be ok to assume that's a stable position. I'd wear the nice bras and not worry about it!

Thanks!
