Perfect Prep

Hi Gang!

New mum, 10 day old DD, I just wanted to see what others thoughts on this were.

Has anybody who has used the Tom Tip Perfect Prep noticed an increase in wind in their Los after using to prepare a bottle?

I only started using it a couple of days ago due to the minimum feed being 4oz but noticed an instant change in babies wind habits. If you look at the bottle after prepping there is at least an ounce of frothy bubbles as opposed to making up with the kettle. I stopped using the Prep and it was like flicking a switch, no more restless trapped wind baby.

Anybody else noticed this?

I've always used it and DS hasn't ever really had a problem with trapped wind.

Maybe try stirring the formula with a sterilized spoon instead of shaking it, and adding an extra ounce so the baby doesn't have to drink the frothy bit?

You get froth when you shake a ready mixed bottle made with the kettle ? Perfect prep bubbles are from when you shake the hot shot - depending on your bottle there's usually a colic hole

I shake the hot shot but I just swirl it once the cold water's been added.

Mine has had less wind since we've started using it at 4 weeks!! X
