Cold sore

I'm currently BF 7 week old DS but 23 month old DD sometimes has one or two feeds a day. But she seems to be developing a cold sore! Do I need to wash after she has fed? I don't want to pass it on too DS!

According to the LLL, it's only dangerous if the baby is under 4 weeks. I'm not trained though, so it might be worth calling one of the Bfing Helplines in the morning.

Thanks Julie! I might try distraction for a couple of days and see I can stop the feeds for now.
