Does anyone have experience of donating to a milk bank?

As with my ds I have an abundance of milk with dd. I can drip 7 oz one side while i feed on the other. I feel awful just pourin git down the drain/ letting it soak into a towel/bath water. there is only so much my freezer will hold/ that i need for dd later on!

there is one at the hosp in Huddersfield which is not far & i have a number to ring.

I just wondered if there was anyone who could pass on their words of wisdom to me!

That sounds a lovely idea BogW, from memory, the only one was at our local hospital too.

Hi Bogwoppit ... I've been donating since about February. There are some threads on here - quite a few people seem to have done it. It's well worth doing it - especially when you seem to have so much milk - I know our local milkbank (which is in N. Ireland) is always crying out for donors and milk and imagine it's the same elsewhere. Go for it!
