breastfeeding while pregnant causing uterine contractions?

Still breastfeeding DC1 and currently 14 weeks pregnant. I have been getting quite painful uterus contractions that seem to coincide with breastfeeding. It is very hard and painful to touch, and often very far to the side or higher up than expected for where I reckon my womb should be by now. Wondered if anyone had experience of this?

Are yiu still getting them badg3r?

Yes, have been trying to wean DS off though which has helped massively. Now down to two feeds a day and it seems that the longer I feed the tighter it gets, but up to about 15 mins is ok. I thought it was going to be very difficult but DS has been surprisingly understanding. I am going to ask my GP about it next week when I see them. I definitely didn't have these tightenings at this stage during my first pregnancy, although obviously I wasn't breastfeeding!
