How to make up formula????

I want to leave DS with his grandparents for the first time, and I want to lewave some ff with them incase he gets hungry. Normally I express, but I can't express enough to make this feed as well.

But I am really confused about how I should make and store the ff. I was going to premake the feed and store it in the fridge (for up to 4 hours before it would be needed), but my friend said I should make it fresh every time.

So how can I safely make up a feed a few hours before it is needed????

i just make the water part and stick in the fridge, then heat up and add the formula powder when i need it.

I just keep bottles on the kitchen side with cool boiled water in. When it's time for a feed, I heat up the water in the microwave, give it a shake to get rid of hot spots and add the required amount of formula. You can get formula pots, where you can pre-measure out the powder too, so grandparents would just have to empty the powder into the bottle without measuring.

use ready made. best for short spells, more hygenic too.

I'd just buy a couple of cartons for an occasion like this.

If you don't normally use it what's the point in buying a big tin of powder anyway?
