Breastfeeding books

Hello, which breastfeeding books have you found useful?

My little one is 5 weeks old and we are struggling somewhat with the breastfeeding. I've been told he has a tongue tie and while we will get that sorted I'm not convinced that is the only reason.

Issues are painful nipples and baby constantly hungry (though my supply seems OK and have been told he has a good latch).

Thanks!

No books, but kellymom website is good and free

Agree Kellymom is great.

I liked the LLL book The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding.

Bestfeeding by Mary J Renfrew. I got it out of the library. I also found National Breastfeeding Helpline, local breastfeeding support group, Lansinoh nipple cream and staying in bed very helpful in the early days.

Also The Milk Meg (website and Facebook)

It's tough at the start but so long as you just keep feeding as often as DC ask, they won't be going hungry. Try not to time or count feeds- it only makes you worry! Just keep feeding and push the HCP until the tongue tie is sorted. Good luck!

Sorry, should have said they shouldn't be hungry. Obviously the tongue tie or another issue could be stopping them feeding properly.
