DD is 6 weeks old and has suddenly started making a ticking noise while feeding. Read somewhere that it is a sign of a bad latch but Im not having any other problems eg sore nipples/boobs.

Any dvice on how to get rid of it or if it is a problem?

I had this - and it was because dd2 was struggling with the powerful letdown. I spoke to some of the helplines & went to my local breastfeeding clininc for advice.....have you got one near you?

Yes, I do but the thought of getting there with my 18 month old DS and 6 week old on the bus is just too much at the mo!

I fed DS for 7 1/2 months, so am pretty sure it not position ect. I do have forceful letdown though, both DS and now DD choke for the first few minutes. Cant rem if I had this problem with DS but he was a lot bigger. DD is not as big at 6weeks as he was when born. Maybe thsat makes it worse?
