Expressing milk and travelling

Hi All.
How long will my milk be ok once I've taken it out of the fridge? I want to bring some expressed milk on the plane with me as I find breastfeeding awkward in the confined space of the plane seats.

Rules were always 6 hours out of fridge, 6 days in fridge and 6 months in freezer. As long as baby isn't a premie.

Think this is up to date info.

You should be able to travel with a fridge bag/ice pack if longer than 6 hours is needed.

Thanks, the seems to be plenty of guidance about putting it in the fridge etc. But it didn't seem clear if it needs to be used straight away once refrigerated!?

You will probably be asked to taste it if taking it on a plane with you. I would put it in a cool bag.
