What's this coming out of my nipples

I'm currently 6mo pg. My ds has been dry nursing since 3mo after my milk dried up. Yesterday I checked if there was any milk and I expressed a little clear sticky stuff. It tasted a little salty. Not like milk.
Anyone know what it is? Ds doesn't seem to mind.

Colostrum I think.

Probably early colestrum. Are you in pain? If not then probably just your boobs gearing up for the new baby.

Mummyamy123 · 30/10/2016 20:51

Yeah sounds like colostrum :)

Finelinebetweenchaos · 30/10/2016 20:52

It sounds like colostrum. Your body starts producing it during pregnancy well before birth. It feels like it's dry because it isn't produced in great quantities.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Excellent. Ds bf had a really rocky start. Hoping for smoother sailing this time.
