I breastfeed but was considering switching to bottles so asked friends this. The consensus tends to be 3 bottles of 8 or 9 ounces or 4 bottes of 6 ounces.

They need a minimum of 18oz so 3 6oz bottles, I switched to bottles at 6 months and tbh I found it hard to get 18oz into her, a 8/9oz bottle would have been out of the question !!

It's a minimum of 20oz up to 1 year. At 9 months mine had 3 milk feeds and was down to 2 by 11 months
