Tommee Tippee Steriliser

I have a TT steam steriliser and it says to use citric acid to descale it every 4 weeks... that isnt the problem as I have the citric acid but the box says to refer to the manufacturers instructions on how to sterilise but TT instructions say to refer to the product for details on how to sterilise so basically what I would like to know is how do I descale it???? Can anyone help me please????

I had a that steriliser and I never bothered descaling

Did you ever have any problems with it if it was never descaled?

I've gota TT microwave one and you can see the scale building up over a few days.
i just wash it with washing up liquid once a week to wash away the scale befpre it goes hard.

Never had a problem with it, it was always perfectly fine
