Biting - OUCH!

Can anybody help me? I am still BFing my 8 mth old daughter morning and night mostly, but during the day too when I'm not at work (went back 2 wks ago, 3 days per week). In the last 3 weeks she's got 3 teeth and keeps biting me which is very sore. I have tried to tap her on the nose when she does it - but this is hard to do quickly enough as I often have to use hand to support boob a bit, and when I do manage she really howls . I don't want her to hate being fed in case I tap her nose, and I don't really want to stop feeding yet. Any tips? I BFed my older daughter for 10 months, but she never got any teeth until 14 mths so I never had that problem.
Thanks

plama it is really common and poor you it really hurts. search biting on b&bf topic you will find mucho stuff. they do stop (although ds 21m has just bitten me for fun this evening - little beast).

You have to be a bit cruel here...my 10 mo ds has been doing this, and a sharp no, followed by removing him from breast has helped. However he then went through a stage of a little nip, followed by coming off, staring at me and shaking his head to say no!! If they persist, you have to remove them and sit them on the floor for several minutes. It certainly hurts though, so much sympathy.
