Breast feeding drying up

My baby is breast fed on demand. My left seems fine. My right was never that great. And I have not fed on that side very often. Because I forget. Should I be able to establish the milk again or is it to late. I guess at some point one breAston won't be enough. Baby is 3 months

I almost exclusively feed from the left. My boobs look unbalanced but baby is thriving. If you're healthy and feeding on demand then one breast will make enough to feed one baby.

You can increase your milk supply on that side - offer that side first at every feed, maybe try different positions, pump in between feeds if possible - if that would make you feel better. But you can exclusively feed from one side without it being an issue.

Ok and he will defo get enough from the one breast? I have always heard to offer the other breast after feed. So thought this would mean one breast is not enough

Your milk works on a supply and demand principle so the more baby feeds, the more is produced. One breast can be enough, but if you wanted to try to use both more regularly keep offering your right and you might be surprised how much your supply increases.

I would ask at your doctors if it's possible to have a breast pump on loan for a few weeks, I did this to boost my supply and they are serious pieces of equipment. Otherwise I agree with the other posters that you should be able to provide enough on just one side, as you will naturally produce on demand.

You don't say how old your baby is so I am guessing a few months? One breast only will be fine - it will increase its production to match need.

Twin mums have one breast per baby.

The volume of breastmilk needed by a baby does not rise much after the first weeks. The baby has more or less the same volume for months.

No need to pump at all, IMO.
