How old was your baby when they stopped feeding constantly?

And how much did they weigh?

DD is 9 weeks old, 3 weeks corrected. She weighs just over 7lb and is breastfed. She still feeds constantly and I know that's normal because she is in effect still a newborn. I just wondered when things became a bit more consistent/predictable for you? I'm not expecting a set routine, but at the moment she doesn't have "feeds" as such, instead she may settle down and not need another feed for an hour or two, or she may wake up 10 minutes later and be hungry.

About 6-8 weeks? DS is 11mo now and as you can tell, it's happily a rather hazy memory by now!

I think about 12 weeks. Ds was 9lb 1 and didn't regain his birth weight til.about 4 weeks. I can't really remember noe but pretty sure it settled around 12 weeks

12 weeks ish - he's 5 months now and still feeds every 2 hours.

12 weeks

DS was 3.39kg (7lb 8), lost 12% early on, regained birth weight by 2 weeks, double birth weight at 15-16 weeks.

Ds is 15 (years) and still eats constantly.......Grin

I seem to remember 12 weeks being a big turning point. But the constant cluster feeding in the evening stopped at about 4 weeks (I think) but mine were term and huge. Things are different for teeny little ones [heart melting emoticon]
