Full fat cows milk for one year old?

I stopped breast feeding my ds when she was 11 months and she never liked the taste of formula. I am now feeding her full fat cows milk but noticed that she is only doing a poo every 3-4 days and gets this really bad tummy ache. Do you think the milk is too fat for her (how much milk do they need at this stage, she get aboout 600 ml or less a day) and should I try to feed her formula from time to time (also because of the extra vitamins)?

recommendations now are for Forumla until 18 mopnths as babies dont get enough iron!

dd is now 19 mo and still have her on it (cow and gate yellow, says u can use 9 mo - 24)

from a year they need about a pint of milk a day. maybe it si other foods causing it? does hse eat veg adn fruit? also try avoiding white bread

if she is eating a good and varied diet cows milk should be absolutely fine

why spend money on formula when you dont have to?

definitely she needs full fat

Full fat cow's milk isn't higher fat than breast milk or formula, from what I know. She may be having a bit of problem with the milk proteins? How long have you been giving her cow's milk? How long has she been struggling with poos? Maybe she is just constipated? How is her diet otherwise?

full fat cow's milk is fine from a year. it's only formula manufacturers who want to persuade you otherwise.....
