Shock

I read the first line ("Begin by trying to feed your baby every three to four hours") and had to check the date to make sure it wasn't an April Fool.

Didn't want you to think we'd forgotten you on this thread - thanks for letting us know your thoughts. We're going to look at this on Monday but in the meantime, in case you've not seen it, EmmanuelleMumsnet posted this on site stuff:

Thanks very much for all the feedback about this page, we appreciate it.

We've let our Content team know, and someone will be along as soon as possible to take it from here.

Thanks again!

Agree this was a crap article mumsnet

ICJump · 08/08/2016 05:28

Come on MN you know this is crap advice. 3-4 hours isn't ok. babies need to be fed at least 8-12 times a day. they don't have to be burped. They don;t need to be made to wait for food.

Who wrote this advice ?

Orsono · 08/08/2016 09:40

The problem is, this is written by a childcare 'expert' who if you look her uo has a a parenting theory and book to sell, but this isn't made clear at all in the intro to the article. It's an opinion piece, but it's presented as a general mumsnet information page. It needs to be put in context - this is lazy editorship from someone.
