I has ds who is 9 months, and 3 months pg with our second. Ds is still bf 5-6 times a day at the monent, and showing no sighns of slowing down.

So i just want to know how it was if you did continue to bf.

If anyone stopped, but wished they had carried on.

And happily stopped.

anything else inbetween.

I know it is my desision, but i would still like to hear other peoples experiances

I was going to post something along these lines - DS 19 months, and 4 months pg. Am considering tandem feeding, but it feels like such a big step, doesn't it? Mind you, my milk is drying up, so this may all be academic for me.

hi, i have about same age difference between ds1 and ds2 (2 years), as will be between your dcs CD, so a bit more than will be between your no1 and no2 LP... I did 4 months of tandemfeeding, and wouldn't have missed this experience for the world! It helped ds1 accept the fact that there was now a little brother, and the two of them were holding hands when feeding at the same time. They are very close, and there has not been much jealousy. Of course I have no idea what it would have been like, had i not tandemfed... Ds1 finally self-weaned at 28 months, though he was 'helped' a little by me, as it did get a bit much. Feeding two is very exhausting, esp. when your toddler suddenly wants to feed on demand again as well. We had loads of nightfeeds where there were 4 of us in the bed.... It takes some juggling, and makes for some funny pictures... Anyway, good luck on your pregnancy
