How many formula feeds a day for 7 mth old??

My dd is 7 months and currently has 4 formula feeds a day but never finished a bottle, I make up 6oz each time but usually only takes 3-4oz sometimes even less, with only very occasionlly taking 5-6oz usually if she took very little at previous feed.

should I cut back to 3 feeds per day instead? she has 3 meals a day too and isnt too bad with eating most of the time. I do try to include yoghurt and cheese in her diet and does have cows milk on cereal too.

as long as your lo is having around 20 ounces of milk per day then it doesnt matter how many bottles that is spread between. You may find that when you drop a bottle your lo will take a bit more from the remaining bottles

My DS is 8mths and we went from 4 to three bottles at Xmas (one first thing, one around 4 and one at bedtime) and on the whole he is finishing them better - not every day though for example today he ate a lasagne with a rich cheese sauce for lunch so only had 1/2 a bottle this pm - but on the whole more of the stuff gets drunk. I got really fed up when we were on 4 bottles of chucking so much of the stuff away. Don't forget other full fat dairy products such as cheese and yoghurt can contribute to their 18-20oz

ds 8 mo and has 3 bottles, one straight after breakfast (which is cereal and full fat milk) one mid afternoon and one before bed, all 7oz, although sometimes doesn't take all of morning bottle but I always count milk and cheese as contributing

Thanks I think I may try cutting down to 3 as pf says I throw more away than dd drinks! If I do one first thing and one at bedtime it sounds like you give the 3rd mid/late afternoon does this seem to be the best time from your experience rather than half way through the day?

My DS is 9mo and been on 3 bottles a day for about 2 mo's now. He has one when he wakes, one at about 2pm and one before bed. They are all 8oz but often he wont finish the 2pm one and leaves 4oz's

I have this, sometimes dd won't take any bottle at all. She is 7 months old, and still on 5 bottles. Is this too much?

She has one at breakfast, lunch, tea, bedtime, and dream feed. She hardly takes any of them except damn dreamfeed which I want to drop. She usually takes about 5 oz at this one, but want to stop this one. Any advice anyone?

I know that they should drop bottles, but they should still have 20oz a day (obviously my DS doesnt quite do this but its near! )
Does your DD eat solids well?

And perhaps get into a routine of food and milk.
My DS has the following
Wake Up - Milk - 7am
Weetabix & Banana 9am
Sandwich/Toast & fruit - 12 ish
Milk - 2ish
Cooked meal & yoghurt - 3.30-4pm ish
sometimes a little sandwich or toast at 5.30-6 is hungry
Milk at 7pm before bed

Dd loves solids and will eat anything, but isn't interested in milk. Had 3oz at bedtime bottle and that is good for her.

Seems to require no fluid intake at all (apart from sucking squashy toy crab in bath)despite my best efforts. Perhaps I have given birth to a camel!
