Hi I have had a lot of problems breast feeding. After 4 weeks I have decided to call it a day. I would like to know the best way to wean my little one off me without getting mastitis. I have stopped feeding on my right and expressing. So far I have been expressing on both sides and trying to reduce the time I am pumping for. I am trying to leave it as long as I can before I express. Should I use a hot water bottle before I express and then put ice packs on my breasts after I pump? I am not sure if I should put Savoy cabbage on my breast because I am being treated for thrush? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I want to try and get my little one off me within two weeks but don't want to run the risk as I said of getting mastitis. Please help!
