Cup for breastfed baby

I'd like to try and get my 7 month old baby girl to take milk from something other than me. I've not had much success with bottles as she doesn't get it so I guess I might as well try going straight to a cup. Can anyone recommend a cup that she could potentially take an evening milk feed from - not too fast flow, soft mouth piece etc - that's worked well with a baby just used to bf? Thanks so much!

I just used a plastic beaker with mine. No need for the multitude of sippy cups on the market. Just a few sips at first and she'll soon learn how to drink. Makes life a lot easier in the long run.

I used the Tommy tippee supper cups with my two. However I didn't manage to get them to drink any milk substitute until they were over one when they relented and accepted banana and strawberry milkshake. Before that it was breast milk, water and fruit smoothies.

Doidy Cup was recommended by HV. Both my babies were able to drink out of this at about 7-8 months (aided and supervised), but had been bottle fed younger.

I second the doidy cup. I used with my BF baby and it took a few weeks but she drinks from it now. Cuts out the need for interim bottles/sippy/straw cups and is far better for their teeth in the long run

Doidy is good, but my 18mo still spills it all down himself. We love the Munchkin 360 Miracle Cup for water day to day - it emulates an open cup so no spout, but is non spill. It's magic!

My daughter has been drinking from either an open cup or the tommee tippee straw cup from six months.

Thanks all - I'm using the doidy for sips of water and she enthusiastically lunges at it but spills water everywhere! Just wondering about the comfort factor - would a cup like this be ok for milk before bedtime when she's used to me...

Give her cuddles while she has her milk so she still has the closeness.

I used the Babycup. Recommended to me and was brilliant.

I bought tons of cups in an attempt to get my bf son to drink water (wasn't so fussed about the bedtime feed as weirdly that was the one he was never so fussed about). Typically, I had the most success initially with a plastic disposable cup like you'd get at a BBQ (he liked the lip round the edge). He then got the hang of the cheap Tommy tippee sippy cup. Now at nearly two he's finally worked out how to use a straw. Honestly? Nothing's going to emulate the comfort factor at bedtime, I'd stick with a cheap free flow if I were you....but just my experience!
