BM for toddler to prevent tonsillitis

I've got a nasty case of tonsillitis (might be strep)and am currently BF 9 month old which is said to give immunity.

Am concerned that my 3 year old might get it. Is there any worth in giving him some expressed milk? Would that protect him? If so how much?!

I must add I currently have a temperature so not thinking straight...

Brilliant idea snd absolutely give the three year old some. I read an article that when someone sneezes within range if a BF mum it takes just 20 mins to start producing anti bodies.

Even a small amount would offer some protection or shorten the duration of illness.

Gargle with some yourself too to get those anti bodies to the source of the infection 😃

It can't hurt can it- worth a try. I had tonsillitis recently and neither of my bf children (2.5 and 6months) got it- not sure if it was luck or bm though.
