My DS is 12 weeks old and has not stopped crying this evening. He fed off me pretty much for 2 hours on and off. By the end of this he was getting tetchy and did not seem satisfied at all.

I tried a nappy change, hugs, kisses, and in the end gave him a bottle of forumla which I have for emergencies. He guzzled 250ml.

I don't know what to think. He has been mix-fed since birth, although most days he is breastfed. He probably gets 2 or 3 bottles a week, and is breastfed at night.

Has my milk supply diminished? Please help - I don't particularly want him to have more forumla. He has plenty of wet nappies and is putting on weight.

Hi there.Just wonder if it could be a growth spurt.Happened with my 2 .HTH Wrinkly.

12 weeks old is growth spurt time, you might have a rough few evenings as he will want to feed more, but this in turn will get your supply up to deal with it.

Thanks - it all seems OK today so I will stop the panic!
