Is this normal?

My three month old DS has up until now been quite good through the night, going to sleep at 7pm, waking around 7am and having maybe two feeds around midnight and 4 am. However the last week or so he is waking up every two hours for some reason! Is this normal and is there anything I can do to get him back into the previous routine?

IME before the "year" mark and after , there are lots and lots of phases of good sleep and bad sleep and middle sleep and no sleep... You get my point. Just keep the routine the same but go with him Smile don't change too much or he will get confused, best to stick with your routine but if he needs fed still feed whenever, hope you have a better night tonight!

Thankyou, I hope so too, I've got my driving test on Tuesday so I'm praying we get a few decent nights!

Yep. Normal.

I agree with Evans, in the first year sleep isn't linear and there will be ups and downs and changes in routine. Could be a development leap, could be a growth spurt, could be hungry, could be like this for months or over tomorrow.....They just like to keep you guessing!

Good luck with your driving test, my provisional licence came today so now I have no excuse and need to learn.
