So I have used these with both my kids... But I thought of something the other day...it's really random so bear with me!!

So these bottle are vented...so the air can get in the bottle

So why do we sterilise them seeing as they are not a sealed unit? It's there a point to it?

You sterilise because of bacteria from the milk not from the air

But the milk goes in the bottle just before you feed baby not for hours and hours before. So if there is bacteria in the milk that in itself will contaminate the bottle when you make it, steralized or not.

If there is any milk residue left in the bottle/ teat after washing then sterilising will kill the bacteria.
