how much formula to feed a 4 week old

I know this is like asking how long is a piece of string but could I hear your opinions - I have a VV HUNGRY baby who is demanding more after every feed and I am worried about giving too much xx

I don't know how much you are currently giving your LO. I think we were doing 4/5oz maybe. Ive such a bad memory. Though you can't over feed a baby so they say. They will either stop drinking or bring it back up.

we are currently giving 4 sometimes 5 oz every 3-4 hours but LO is mad hungry and DH and I are in a real conflict as he says I may over feed her - really hard to kow what to do !

Hope this is not controversial, but don't see any reason why you should "feed on demand" with ff babies as well as bf - if she wants it, just let her have it. If you over-feed her, she'll soon let you know by depositing it all over you!

Yep dd starving at 4 weeks, must be a growth spurt thing! Just feed her until she stops wanting it!
