Stopping expressing at work

My DD is 10.5 months and I leave expressed milk for her on the 4 days I'm at work.

I'd like to stop expressing. I don't want her to have formula. We will happily continue breastfeeding evenings/days together.

Will she be ok just having water through the day? She eats fairly well and usually has a bottle of EBM morning and afternoon (around 4-5oz each time). What's the best way to transition from EBM during the day?

She could have water or she could even have a small amount of cows milk as long as the main drink remains breastmilk

Yes. I did give one pre made bottle of formula just in case but to be honest that was more for me to be guaranteed he was not starving.

He BF for nearly 2 more years after I stopped expressing but he did reverse cycle at night.

I went back to work when dd was 11 months. Didn't leave ebm or formula she just had water and food. Then I would breastfeed her when we got home, before bed and in the morning before nursery.
She was fine.

I stopped expressing at 11 months. After that I tried cows milk, which she didn't like, so she just had water during the day. Carried on breastfeeding morning and evening. The paediatrician did tell me off, but it worked just fine.

I think if I was just going back to work now I wouldn't bother expressing, but I've been back since she was 6 months so she's fairly used to it now.

Is it harsh to put her cold turkey on water? Should I just leave less milk for her so she still has two bottles but just less of it?

Why not drop one to start with and then she can have a snack with water at the other milk feed time.
