pre making formula

Hi I want to pre make up powder formula. I was told to boil water and let cool for few minutes, then add formula and shake. Then cool rapidly and can keep in fridge for 24 hours as long as not been used. Does this sound ok? I've got a perfect prep machine being delivered tomorrow so this is only for next 24 hours xx

Sounds fine, that's how I did it for 18 months with my ds.

I have done this with both my children I think who guidelines state that if you need to store formula this is best way to do it x

Yes, you'll need to check that the cooled water is still at least 70 degrees, then flash cool as rapidly as you can before putting in the fridge. Of course ensure it's used within 24 hours.

That's fine as long as water is hot enough to start with when you add it to the powder.

Yep, that's exactly what I do. Boil kettle, cool for a few mins so water is still more than 70c, make up four bottles at once, store in back of fridge. Then heat up as required.
