Baby 5 months old going off breastfeeding!!!

Hi there,
My baby girl is 5 months old, she was born at 32 weeks but apart from being little is perfectly healthy.
Initially she had a food tube and I expressed and gave her formula and I still combination feed now with alternate breast/bottle feeds.
My problem is over the last couple of weeks she's not latching on very well and is easily distracted so I have to feed her upstairs and in silence and it's very frustrating as previously she was brilliant at it. I've even had the nipple shields out again but they haven't helped.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Bella, frustrating, grrrr.

It's not uncommon though. Five month olds tend to be easily distracted. Going somewhere quiet is a good response. If you still have a good supply, it's likely to be a short lived phase. One thing you might try is to BF more often for a while to ensure a boost in supply. You could revert later to 50/50.

Thanks Tiktok, it's Definately frustrating when you've worked so hard at it but I'll persevere!! I'm not ready to throw the towel in just yet!!!
